Vice President Program Delivery - Clean Foundation (Filled)

Vice President Program Delivery
Clean Foundation
We’re hiring for the newly created Vice President Program Delivery for Clean Foundation in Dartmouth, NS. Clean Foundation is a program delivery non-profit that works towards promoting a sustainable future and clean economy by delivering clean projects and programing to tackle climate change challenges today. As their new Vice President Program Delivery, you'll work closely with their amazing Directors of Programming to support them in continuing to deliver these outstanding environmental programs.

Reporting to both the President & CEO and the COO, you'll provide strategic guidance in the delivery of their program streams, acting as a liaison between program directors and senior leadership team. You'll also establish consistency across programming and services, ensuring they deliver a project portfolio that aligns with Clean’s strategic priorities. You’re not the type of person to sit back and watch the same old processes and systems run on autopilot. Oh no, you'll be on the lookout to learn from the best, inject some fresh energy, and pursue continuous improvement with the team.

Success in this role requires you to bring several strengths to the table. You need a Masters degree in Environment and/or Business, at least five years of experience developing and implementing strategic programming, and an understanding of project management principles. You're someone with a vigorous business acumen who embraces leading people and using your experiences to guide others through change and evolution. You have a forward-thinking mindset, a passion for sustainability, the clean economy, climate policy, and the non-profit sector. Knowledge of the Nova Scotia Climate Change Plan and experience managing stakeholder relations is required.

At Clean, your work-life balance is a top priority, and the organization takes care of employees' financial well-being by providing RRSP matching. Your health and dental insurance plan are fully covered, so you can focus on being healthy and happy. When it's time to take a break, you'll have paid vacation and wellness days. Plus, they encourage giving back to the community by offering paid volunteer time off. And if your birthday falls on a weekday, they’ve got you covered with another paid day off! Don't forget that every day is treat day, so choose your side: team M&M's or team Sour Keys. Your doggie friends are part of the family, too, and are always welcome at the office.
