The newly created role of Vice President, Information Technology & Digitization is an opportunity to join a world-class biotech company that provides the next generation of patient care solutions to a roster of global clients and that is contributing to the expansion of Canada’s biomanufacturing capacity.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, IT & Digitization (VP) is a member of the leadership team responsible for building and achieving BioVectra’s information technology, information management and digitization strategic direction. The VP is responsible for assessing current technology processes, recommending software upgrades, and advising the CFO and senior leadership team on the road map for IT, IM and digitization and the successful delivery of new technology platforms and services to meet current and future business needs.
In delivering the technology road map, the VP will work in close collaboration with the leadership team, to implement a multi-year strategic framework, assessing opportunities to drive operational excellence through technology and digitization, leveraging data, and enhanced user experience.
An innovative, capacity-building leader, the VP is skilled at implementing strategy and driving smart technology investments. Excited and experienced in building teams and operational capacity through best-in-class IT/IM/ Digitization strategy, they are tasked with guiding, inspiring and building a digital and data empowered experience to enable BioVectra’s people and processes, enhancing the organization’s overall ability to deliver flexibility, creativity, process optimization and compliance in the delivery of customer and partner requirements. This role can be located in either Charlottetown, PE or Windsor, NS.
