Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Vice-President, Human Resources is responsible for the leadership and assembly of human resource strategies and plans, as well as ensuring excellence in the delivery of human resource services across the organization. An integral member of the executive team, and supported by a highly talented team of human resource professionals, the Senior Vice-President champions and fosters an inclusive workplace culture and guides the development and implementation of progressive human resources strategies to attract, develop, and retain the breadth of talent required to deliver authentic, consistent and exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field of study, coupled with at least 10 years of strategic human resource leadership experience spent in complex, consumer driven or multi-stakeholder environments. A CPHR designation is considered an asset. They bring knowledge of all aspects of human resources including labour relations, succession planning, employee engagement, workforce planning, compensation management, performance management, workplace health and safety, organizational development and recruitment and selection. The Senior Vice-President embraces, develops and supports diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives. They have experience successfully leading change through the implementation of human resource integration systems. They are a values-driven leader, trusted advisor and coach, with a reputation for developing cohesive and high performing teams. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, their track record of success can be attributed to an innate ability to develop and nurture strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
