Your Impact and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in managing workflow and employees within the Design and Engineering departments, taking charge of engineering and design for structural building components. You will ensure that engineering and design activities comply with relevant codes and standards while also participating in project meetings, providing technical knowledge, and seamlessly integrating with project teams. Collaboration is at the core of Lindsay Construction. Importantly, this hands-on position entails overseeing the production of accurate and compliant engineering documentation, including drawings and specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting thorough reviews and applying professional judgment to stamp and approve the final designs.

Qualifications and What We're Seeking:
To thrive in this role, proficiency in AutoCAD and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a Professional Engineer designation are essential. In addition, a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, along with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, is crucial. Key characteristics we look for include attention to detail, effective communication, the capacity to prioritize dynamic and evolving tasks adeptly, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach with a sense of urgency. Experience in tilt-up/tilt-wall construction is considered an asset.
