Reporting to the Director, Business Partnerships & Workplace Health & Safety, the HR Business Partner coaches, influences, and supports business leaders to effectively deliver their people plans. As a trusted advisor, the HR Business Partner collaborates with other HR specialist functions to provide stakeholders a consultancy service that delivers best practice and operationally focused HR solutions. You will work to develop talent and leadership capacity, provide guidance and coaching to leaders on disciplinary and performance related matters, and act as an employee champion to identify and execute ways to build engagement, improve workplace relationships, boost productivity, and reduce turnover.
As a results-driven HR professional with a passion for building strong relationships and driving organizational success, the HR Business Partner will possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources Management, or equivalent experience, as well as at least seven years of relatable Human Resources experience. Experience spent in both a unionized and non-unionized environment is preferred, as is a post-graduate diploma/certificate in Human Resources or CPHR designation.
