Join the Nova Scotia Health and Community Services Safety Association (AWARE-NS), in their mission to boost safety and well-being in Nova Scotia's community and healthcare sector.
Your Role:
You will embrace the transformative role of Executive Director at AWARE-NS. Advance the organization to new heights by aligning operational and programming plans with the strategic direction crafted in collaboration with the Board of Directors. Lead day-to-day operational excellence and financial growth, with a special focus on cultivating a safe workspace and fostering a collaborative culture that reflects the core values of AWARE-NS.
Your Impact:
You will establish and nurture crucial relationships with government departments (funders), health sector partners, and other stakeholders, including the LTC department, Disability Support, and sector councils. Your advocacy will extend to Nova Scotians employed in the community and healthcare sector, where your mission is to enhance their safety and well-being, reduce workplace injuries, and promote physical and psychological health.
Who We Seek:
We are in search of a visionary leader who excels in developing and executing strategic and operational priorities while ensuring financial stability every step of the way. You will guide the organization's daily operations and transformative online projects, playing a key role in fully operationalizing the recently refreshed strategic plan. If you are a transformative leader with experience in financial, project, and change management, and you are passionate about enhancing safety and well-being in Nova Scotia's community and healthcare sector, we invite you to embark on this incredible journey at AWARE-NS.
