Reporting to the Vice President of Sales for Innovasea’s Fish Tracking business unit, the Director of Sales utilizes a strong mix of sales leadership, technical, and communication skills to plan and direct sales activities across multiple product lines and geographies. They oversee the performance and management of local and remote sales teams, administrators, and distributors, while implementing best practices in sales. They envision and implement scalable systems and processes that support anticipated organizational growth in foreign sales and key export markets.
The Director of Sales is a natural people leader, relationship builder, and is passionate about emerging best practice. They utilize exceptional communication skills and a deep commitment to customer service to meet sales objectives and inspire performance within a multidisciplinary team. They are self-motivated and thrive in a collegial, team-oriented and supportive environment. They bring 10+ years of experience in internal sales, sales leadership, and sales strategy in global markets to the role. Domestic and international travel will be required for this position.
