Your Impact:
Reporting directly to the General Manager & CEO, you will lead the Engineering and Capital Infrastructure Department, steering asset management and capital planning, infrastructure planning, capital project delivery, strategic projects, and energy efficiency and business development. Your responsibilities extend to developing and implementing short- and long-term capital strategic plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering innovation and process improvement. As a leader, you will contribute to creating a positive workplace culture and collaborate with various stakeholders, including external regulatory agencies, Halifax Municipality, and industry organizations.

Who We Seek:
We are in search of a transformative leader with a post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer designation, accompanied by a PMO management certificate and Six Sigma or equivalent qualifications are desirable. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater engineering, showcasing expertise in capital infrastructure planning and, project management. To excel, you should possess extensive experience in capital project planning and delivery, a profound understanding of design, construction, and operational best practices, as well as robust management, finance, and negotiation skills. Your ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and navigate regulatory compliance is essential.
