Committed to customer service and quality products for over 35 years, Atlantic Aqua Farms has established itself as North America’s number one grower and processor of the widely recognized, high-quality Prince Edward Island Mussels, under the brand name Canadian Cove and Confederation Cove. The company also farms some of the finest quality Prince Edward Island and Maine Oysters.
Atlantic Aqua Farms is seeking a confident, adaptable, and forward-thinking Corporate Controller to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organization that is continuously expanding its horizons. As the Corporate Controller, you will work closely with the accounting team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the preparation of monthly financial statements, supporting senior leadership, contributing to ambitious business development activities, and ensuring strict compliance with financial policies. Your adaptability, strong leadership, and communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with the different teams across the Plant, Farm, and Office.
The ideal candidate will possess a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation with over 5 years of accounting experience, along with knowledge of corporate law and management practices. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make timely decisions with a focus on company finances are crucial. A self-driven, results-oriented mindset and a positive team player outlook will be valuable assets in this role.
